Write a letter to Jesus expressing your deepest concerns and hopes.
Dear Jesus,
It’s me again. I am scared. Scared that when my day comes, and I get to see your face, you will say, “Depart from me, I never knew you.” It is literally my worst fear, and I know these feelings are caused by condemnation from the evil one, but they are there.
I know for a fact that the only way to heaven is through the Son, believing with my whole being and confessing with my mouth that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior and I believe that He was born, lived a sinless life, gave His life up for me, and rose again three days later. Fun fact from church: I think they said there were 500 witnesses who testified about Jesus after the crucifixion! Now that’s a lot of people.
I digress, I have done that part; however, that seed of doubt is still there. I am also in the process of searching for my “talent,” as they say in the bible. What is something that God gave me that I am to use to bring Him glory? To be honest, I do not know. I am creative on Canva. According to my husband, I have insane compassion for others. (Unless I am driving, I have road rage) Don’t worry about the road rage, though. I am learning how to give praise even when I don’t want to. Someone once said that I have great discernment because I researched why Jesus uses “Truly, Truly I say unto you” all the time. I noticed he kept saying it, and I figured, well, that must be important to Him, so I went on a deep dive. To be honest, I was a little irritated by the repetition. Come to find out, it means to claim to have received the information firsthand from the source.
Stop and consider what I just said. Now consider those beautiful red letters and what they say… Not one person at that time could say such a thing; it was considered blasphemy! I will honestly write a whole different post about this at a later time just because I find it so fascinating.
Well till next time!
Love you
Bye
